"For two weeks we drove almost every day. Waking up early, breakfast in bed, a hike around the place we'd parked, making the van 'road ready', an hour or two of driving - stopping here and there to soak in as much beauty as we could - lunch, paint, computery stuff, dinner and slow evenings in the van. I felt close and connected in new ways. At home in the stretched landscapes, blown away by the incredible details in the scenes - so beautifully composed by the Great Artist.
